In January 2003, we launched the Direction for Life television broadcast on two local stations (WACH Fox 57 and Wolo TV 25). We are currently on 3 television stations in the state of South Carolina (WOLO-Columbia, CW47 -Columbia & CW62-Spartanburg). We have also expanded our Television Ministry to the Northeast reaching New York, New York (WLNY) which also covers New Jersey and Connecticut. In addition, we are now on daily television in Columbia, SC. We are reaching millions for the Kingdom of God through StreamingFaith.com and the Inspiration Network (INSP). Our television ministry has also afforded us the opportunity to minister to people through our telephone prayer ministry as we receive their calls during the broadcast.

In February of 2003, less than two years, we paid off the original deed holder of our facilities at 1230 St. Andrews Road. We then purchased 22 acres of land at 3506 Broad River Road which we were able to secure for 50% of the prevailing per acre price in this area of town. In March of 2004, we launched phase one of our Worship Center building project. It is our new Sprung Structure Worship Center - a 16,000 square feet facility that seats 1,000 worshippers. This was a $2 million dollar project that we completed debt-free in 2 1/2 years.

Since the purchase of the original 22 acres, we have also purchased the easement (road to our property) and the adjoining two acres. This also includes a 1,500 square foot house. In addition, we purchased 8 additional acres adjacent to our new worship center to provide more land for future facilities. In of 2004, we also purchased a 20,000 square foot business facility at 1234 St. Andrews Road, next to our 1230 St. Andrews Road facility, in which we formerly leased approximately 7,000 square feet for our youth ministry and pastor’s private dining area. This facility houses our Children’s Ministry, Community Support Center (that provides food and clothing to the working poor of our community), and our Administrative Offices.

Not only has God expanded us in the areas of outreach ministries and facilities, He have also expanded our ministry staff. We currently have 15 full-time staff members and 4 part-time. In 2005, we expanded our Compass Bookstore to our newly renovated Compass Bookstore and Café located on the 3506 Broad River Road Campus. In August of 2006, we opened the doors to our Right Direction Christian Academy, for K-3 through 3rd grade. 

As we begin our eleventh year of ministry, we know God is going to continue to allow the vision to speak and unfold. With a congregation of 2,000 receiving the Word in five weekly services and bible studies, we are closer to building our ultimate 5,000 seat sanctuary in the coming years.
